An interesting novelty brass vesta case with calendar cards for 1905.
I have not come across one of these before. The brass vesta case is in good, uncleaned, condition. It has a hinged lid for the match compartment with a striker, and a separate compartment that contains a glazed front (removable) and 6 double-sided date cards for the year of 1905. The cards can be altered as necessary for the required month.
The vesta has a ring loop for attaching to a chain.
It measures approx 4.5cm (1 3/4 ins) high, by 3 cm (1 1/4 ins) wide 1.5 cm (1/2 in) deep.
