Hugh Griffiths (1916-2005) who was born in Karachi. Was educated at Canford School and the Dragon School, Oxford. Showed at RA, RBA and NEAC. Lived at Winchelsea and later St Leonards-on-Sea, Sussex. The Towner Art Gallery in Eastbourne holds of his oil paintings.
